Americans Must Create Their Own Safety!

As heated debate about depolicing by demoralised police departments; episodic mass shootings at schools and even a yoga studio continues, it hammers home a point I've devoted myself to making: Americans must create their own safety!

Deep tears are being ripped methodically into our social compact by those who want self-defense, personally and by police, abolished in favor of career criminals who have cheerleaders in think tanks and elected offices across the nation. These tears leave gaping holes in personal and property safety which criminals are happily taking advantage of on a deadly daily basis.

Americans facing this Urban Apocalypse of enabling violent crime and disabling vital crime fighting by law enforcement and law abiding citizens must work within comfort zones and the law to create safety amid sanctioned insecurity.

As an " UrbanSafetyist, " I'm a combination consultant and safety advocate, working alongside individuals, groups, businesses and event organizers to mobilize awareness and taking action to displace negativity plaguing too many of our cities.

After establishing a client or community members comfort zone, I work beside them to put our mutually agreed upon plan into action.

Some plans involve allowing me to contact the local police district, with whom I've cultivated a relationship, on behalf of reluctant complainants who either have lost confidence in local law enforcement or frankly, dislike cops.

The plan serving as the foundation for my role as safety creator for a local anchor institution has mobilized its business owners to contact me regarding suspicious activity where once they remained silent and the building suffered routine waves of people being harassed, robbed and vehicles stolen due to strangers being allowed to roam into businesses inside the building at will.

After nearly a dozen arrests this year; trespassers being banned and known troublemakers escorted off the property, the institution where I'm head of security is infinitely more secure because its constituents united with me to create their own safety.

This is what can happen when Americans stop worrying about ideology and start worrying about creating their own safety amid growing, sanctioned  insecurity.
